Winter Takeover 2025

WINTER TAKEOVER All-Black Affair is at the MGM National Harbor on Saturday, January 11, 2025. The event is a fundraising collaboration in partnership with the Ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and the Ladies of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

The lineup? In the MGM Grand Ballroom, sounds by headliner and national celebrity DJ Envy of the Breakfast Club and the DMV’s DJ DC Infamous. Live performance from the DMV’s hip-hop/go-go/rock crank, Black Alley Band. We are also bringing a night of old and new school club and house music from Baltimore legend, DJ Biskit, in the MGM Bellagio Room.

Not familiar with the MGM National Harbor? The property is a resort, located on the Potomac River, with a casino, nightclubs, and a hotel. As we do with the Summer event, we are taking over MGM!

What is the attire? It is All-Black (Classic & Chic) and it does not need to be formal.

Food and Drinks? We will provide hors d’oeuvres and cash bars for everyone.

What about VIP?
• VIP Couch Passes with Drink Wait Service are available in the MGM Grand Ballroom only
• VIP Table Passes are available in the MGM Grand Ballroom only

VIP Couch and Table patrons will receive a drink ticket and will have exclusive bars and food stations with an enhanced food selection.

What about parking? There will be free parking when you arrive at the MGM National Harbor garage, or you can valet park for a fee at the MGM National Harbor Hotel.
