Silver Spring (MD) Alumni Chapter 50th Charter Day Celebration

You are cordially invited to join The Silver Spring (MD) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. for our 50th Charter Day Celebration. The theme of the event is “50 Years of Brotherhood, Service and Community Impact.”

We are celebrating our Golden Anniversary over the weekend with a Friday chartering day event, Saturday service project, and Diamond Masquerade Gala. Over the weekend we will hear from two Laurel Wreath recipients (Brother Rev. Dr. Howard-John Wesley and Brother Gen. (R) Dennis Via). Entertainment will include Grammy-nominated artist Brother Andre Ward and local Band The Influence. Finally, we have already received confirmation that our Grand Keeper of Records and Exchequer Rhen C. Bass, Sr. will attend.

A portion of the proceeds raised from ticket sales will go towards our Metropolitan Kappa Youth Foundation scholarship fund which provides scholarships to college-bound high school students across the DMV.
